OFF A LIL SUNDAY BRUNCH

I'M BACK NOW! TAKEOVER, BREAK'S OVER. haha, anyways, weekend Bunch has turned into a tradition at my apartment. All of my roommates' schedules are all over the place, and the weekend gives us that time to relax and catch on what everybody's got goin. In college, moments like that keep you the most balanced at times. Plus, we all can cook, so it's always good.

RECAP: SATURDAY AT AEPi

My homie @rodney_eighty81 got the call from @j_weathers on the batphone last thursday. Next thing you know rodney and I are DJ'ing and hosting a party at AEPi. I love AEPi. They show rodney and I the most love out of all the groups up at MSU. Once again, shout-out to the homie Weathers for helping me search all over East Lansing to get a microphone so I can host this party.

The Mixtape features previously released tracks, but has a special intro as well as drops specifically done for the students at Michigan State and to help promote the event."

RECAP: MIKE POSNER IN DAYTON

No lie, my Christmas break was goin pretty shitty. Everything was moving pretty slow, and I had to get out of Michigan for a second. Anyways, ever since the release of "A Matter Of Time", my friend Mike Posner alwasy told about how the people at University of Dayton rock so hard, and I didn't believe him at all... until last Saturday that is. I drove down to Dayton to kick it with Mike. I haven't seen him in a minute, and he's been busy with gigs and workin on his album, which is amazing.

Before I stop at the hotel, I peeped this pizza spot.

Come to find out they're gonna be on my favorite show "MAN VS. FOOD" <---yuuup, that's a Skighwalker exclusive by the way, lol

The Chicken Barbecue was the winner

Sound check at the venue....everyone was WIRED, lol

One thing about Mike is that he always shows his supporters love...ALWAYS, no matter how busy he may be.

Took a quick nap, and got to the venue. It was packed.

Mike came out, and it was holy ghost, speakin tongues crazy in there.

People packed out on the stripper pole too.

I was recording on a flip cam and tryin to snap flicks at the same time. One thing I noticed about Mike is that he's always improving, performance-wise and musically too.

REST IN POWER TEDDY P

I hate bringing up death on here, but this came out of nowhere and hit me harder than I expected. Let's be honest, most of us twenty-somethings were conceived while a Teddy track was playin. Hell I know I was (as painful as it is when my mind wraps around the though of me being conceived). Anyways, Rest In Power to one of illest ever heard.

RECAP: THE MONICA BLAIRE EXPERIMENT & MARVWON'S "WAYNE FONTES" RELEASE PARTY

So last Friday I was blessed to catch Monica Blaire at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Now I have seen Ms. Blaire numerous times, but never with a live band. She did two evening shows & packed both out...yes people...even the upper level, lol.

Anyways, Monica's energy is already crazy, but this live band took this shit to a whole 'notha level. I know place her in the "Can Do No Wrong" category moving past Alicia Keys, Chrisette Michele, and Nikki Jean..... TRUE FUCKIN STORY.

Then Big Bro came out, tapped, and kill it....didn't know Rick got down like that did you?

Marvwon dropped some BARS as well...

Right after I shot a move to The Shelter to MarvWon's "Wayne Fontes" Release Party. KrackDiesel and JFin hit the stage....

Arguably one of my favorite performances of the night went to Danny Brown. I can't even describe it. Just know that if Danny Brown is ever performing in your area, you must catch it.
