commissioned then 14yr old C2 to put together a pair of gradient dunks for
him….and that was the beginning of a beautiful “sneaker-ship”. C2 went on to do
a good 15+ custom pairs but never an official store collab. C2s sneaker painting
days are winding down with the approach of his sophomore year at the University
of Minnesota. What better than run back the “Dunk 95″ and make it somewhat more
widely available.
Friday, August 21st you’ll have your chance to get your
hands on 1/12 pairs before C2 hangs up his brushes. Shoes and “The 95″ LDRS New
Era fitted will be available on first come first serve basis.

QUINTIN, Originators of the 5 Panel fitted (patent pending), connected with Vic Lloyd of LDRS in Chicago to create a special 5 panel fitted cap. The color was chosen to match up with the new colorway of the Yeezy’s. The Black crown features a tonal Y print, a Neon Pink underbill and a glow-in-the-dark sandwich brim. 50 were produced and these will only be available at the LDRS Wicker Park location.

"Here.. we have a very special surprise for our customers, we worked very hard to bring you this collaboration effort that utilizes a modified saying in the “Thank you and your welcome” book that kanye gave out at his tour last year. The book was a collabo between our good friend J.Sakiya Sandifer & Kanye West. We basically took what we thought symbolized Leaders out of the sayings in the book and used the format and type that matched. The shirt contains a hidden glossy “Y” pattern (as seen in the new Yeezys). A raised texture mid grey and glow in the dark leaders camo. Basically a perfect fit for your shoe. Leaders thanks J.Sakiya Sadifer and Kanye West for this opportunity."

SPRING BREAK ADVENTURES: CHICAGO (LEADERS1354)

While I was in Chicago, I spent a lot of time kickin it with my grandparents over on the southside at their crib. When I had a chance to get out of the house, I had to take a trip over to Leaders. If you're in Chicago, and you don't go to Leaders....well, you simply haven't gone to Chicago. I took a trip to the Downtown location first. It's so dope in there, not to mention as soon as you walk in and look to the right, you'll see one of James Grady's artworks...
