BIG SEAN IN CHICAGO: SCHOOL DAZE
It has been sooooo long since I have posted on Cliff's blog, but he's been doing a great job without me. Since Cliff could not make it out to this event, I was more than happy to cover it for him. Also, I got to DJ Sean's set which was really exciting! click HERE to see some footy of the performance that Davy took. (cliff posted this yesterday) Overall it was a great showcase of young artists from Chicago that was hosted by Dillaman and Mikey Rocks. The prime event for me to catch up with my friends!

LAS VEGAS PT.2 "UNDRCRWN X MOS DEF"
Most of the MAGIC parties were thrown at The Palms!!! Here are some of the photos from the Undrcrwn party that I went to! This was a pretty chill party and a lot of friends were there! I brought my sister along, Rick and Dylan made an appearance and so did the Cool Kids. Pastry princesses Angela and Vanessa Simmons also made an appearance!
Because of Undrcrwn's basic and main focus is the sport of basketball, there was no better place to have it than in the Hardwood Suite in the Palms. This hotel suite had a basketball court!!!!
Complementary Fiji water!!
(My favorite) Mos Def performed at the party along with Asher Roth! Special guest DJ Don Cannon and apperance by Beans!!! Mos Def, Asher Roth, and Beanie were in a cypher later in the night. Undrcrwn and Mos Def have collaborated on a line together with a heavy RBGs influence. This is great for all you Revolutionary but Gangster fans.
Another surprise was the preview to the new NBA Live 09!

LAS VEGAS PT.1 : "Hamburglar"
So I'm still here in Vegas and actually have the time to post up some pics and tell some stories about my time here. The past week has been a lot of fun! If you haven't been out to Vegas during the week of Magic, please do so within the next year. It is completely bananas.
In 'n' Out...literally.
Last Sunday night was the beginning of madness here in Vegas. It all started at the Hard Rock Hotel...where everyone seemed to be! I was in the car with James, his friend Brent, and Gilbere from Undrcrwn (cool dudes). Antoine (Mikey Rocks) had hit me up to meet up with him at Hard Rock. When we get there, Mike, Vic, and Davy from Leaders 1354 are there AND our Motivation fam Mike and Indra were there!! At this point we are starrrrving, so what better place to go than In 'n' Out Burger!!!
1:02am : Me, James, Antoine, Brent, and Gilbere arrive at In 'n' Out and get TREATED. So supposedly, In 'n' Out closes at 1:00am however, a million people were still in there eating food and pulling up to the drive thru. We basically try to bribe them to take our order but they weren't budging. Eff them.
1:19am : We arrive at Fatburger which is open 24 hours!!!!!....and stuff our faces.
2:04 am : Back at Hard Rock. Head up to an unidentified person's room for 5 minutes. Then leave.
MEANWHILE, this madness takes place.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS....
WILL BE ON CLIFF NOTES!!! <3
Las Vegas is the place to be!!!! With the Magic tradeshow coming up in the next few days, fashion designers, connoisseurs, clothing lines, celebrities with clothing lines, and the owners of boutiques that carry the clothing lines are steadily arriving. I got here Thursday and will be staying for 2 weeks!!! My Chicago buddy James Grady comes in today to enjoy the festivities, and everyone else I know comes tomorrow. Rick, Ro and Dylan, my friends from Leaders 1354, and my good friends the Cool Kids will all be in sin city. As far as I know, YOUR (yes, as in you) favorite clothing line is sure to be throwing a party within the next week--and they will be thrown right. Crooks & Castles, ALIFE, Undrcrwn, Dimepiece, Stussy--you name it. Luckily, I can keep you updated on what went down and who I rubbed shoulders with. Mikey Rocks informed me that him and Chuck will be partying with Travis Barker Monday night--Million $ Mano will possibly be on the decks. Undrcrwn is throwing a party with the Mighty Mos Def (<3) and Jay-Z and Beyonce at the Crooks and Castles party!Hmmm....maybe some things should stay in Vegas.
Things I am excited for:
1. Lapping in luxury.
2. The 0% humidity.
3. Being in The Palms pool with [insert famous person here]
4. THE PARTIES!
5. The parties not stopping until 5am!!!!!!!!
6. Watching Dylan try to score a Glenn Twin...or both.
