"my how time flies"....cliche as fuck right? I smirk almost everytime I hear this. Although that statement is true, I feel a better statement is "time changes people. Some for the better. Most for the worst"

I remember last year at around this time, I felt what i thought was so.........good? Trying to recall a word to describe that feeling is awfully difficult at the moment. A feeling of false content...yeah that's better.

What i do know is that my circle got a hell of a lot smaller, and I could sense the salt in the atmosphere as soon as I started to decrease the circle.

I'm able to read people a little better now from last year. Peoples' moves, alterior motives, what they say to you, what they say when you're not around, all that shit.

I've felt myself going into this year and birthday with a sense of "fuck you"

but fuck all that man, let's celebrate. This is a toast to my fuckin life. Comin from a spot where niggas become a homicide statistic at this age, I'm blessed to be in this position I'm in. However, I feel I need more and to be better. More outchea, better positions of strength, more clout, better vision...all that shit.

so happy for @mtvtn on their very own New Era release. They've always killed it with the fitteds, and I'm proud to know them as well as the quality that they put out. I'm probably gonna only wear boutique fitteds from now on.

"We gave you a preview last week and now we are proud to announce the release of our first in-house designed Motivation New Era fitted hats! Named the "Ornate M" New Era, these feature our Ornate M logo in two-color raised embroidery on the front of the hat, and our classic text logo in flat embroidery on the back. We will be releasing them this Friday February 5th, 2010 at Noon at our retail location, and they will be available in 3 colorways (including the 2 pictured). Each colorway is limited to 30 pieces produced and the hats will retail at $40 each.

Since we are so well known for our hats, and these are our first store hats, we have had a ton of requests for these and they most likely will sell out over the weekend. We cannot unfortunately hold anyone's sizes. Whatever does not sell out on Friday 2/5 will be made available online for purchase on Saturday 2/6. If you are not a local customer and wish to purchase a hat, you may call our retail location on 2/5 to place a phone order -- or you can risk waiting until 2/6 to purchase any of the sizes that may be left online.
