JORDAN BRAND: Love/Hate Relationship

So this past weekend, my connect in Philly called me super early & asked me if I wanted to cop the Black/Cement Grey Jordan PHLY. I had mixed feelings on them, so as I wiped the crust out of my eyes, i thought "what the hell, they're a hyperstrike" and started to flirt with the idea copping them.

I asked "How Much you lettin' them go for??"

My connect says "For you? I'll let 'em go for $400.00."

As I pressed the End Call button on my phone, right after I let a couple expletives leave my mouth, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I understand the whole retail/resell game that has been prevalent in the sneaker culture over the years. That's not what shocked me. I know that only 18 pairs have released in each color thus far...

Basically, A Jordan III X Nike Blazer Hybrid. *sigh* I wish Jordan Brand would boss up and tell me that the Black/Cement Grey 3's are in the XX/III Countdown Pack, so I can get on with my life and get my money right, LOL!

In other sneaker news, I'm kind of excited I heard through the grapevine that the BRED 1's will be dropping sometime in December...
