this joint was ill. amerie (or rie rie as i affectionately call her in all of beautifulness lol) can sing but can't sang and she understands that and stays in her groove (you heard that ashanti) the beat is what got me and how the melody flowed with it. rich harrison was on his shiz. anybody that's into production (not "makin' beats") can appreciate an amerie album. he gives roy ayers and that whole era of jazz more than a little love.
