I'm wide awake this morning for some reason...no drowsiness at all...super random, but whatever...if y'all didn't already know, this 5:03 shit is therapy to me...I mentioned on twitter that this 5:03 would piss a lot of people off...well, it WOULD....actually it still might...I had to step back and realize my audience is too broad to be unfiltered...anyways, let's get into it:

The last couple of days, I've been driving in my car without listening to any music. It feels weird because I always listen to music when I'm driving. Anyways, been reflecting a lot more...just tryin to figure out this path...

Over the weekend, I got a chance to attend The Great Hangover tour with Asher Roth, Kid Cudi, B.O.B (Bobby Ray), & 88-Keys...if you saw the live chat I had yesterday, I gave you the unabridged version of the tour from my view.... shout-out to everybody's management and crew on this tour....they were all fairly dope.

DJ Wreckineyez came through to Burn Rubber before the gig...CHAMPION.

88-Keys also came through & did an in-store with us...





After I closed up shop, I ran over to the Music Theatre... met B.O.B. ....real cool peoples

The candids mostly always turn out dope in some sort of way

88-Keys stepped out first....his set was dope. I gotta give props to 88 for not only killin his set, but doing a Dilla tribute, especially since we're in the Detroit area...

Asher was backstage watchin everybody's set...

B.O.B. came out right after 88...this was my first time ever seeing B.O.B. perform live. He had a dope set too...I was impressed. What was crazy is that B.O.B.'s manager's mother is one of my mom's close friends..... small world

Dot Da Genius was backstage too... for those of y'all that don't know, he produced "Day N' Nite"

The Real DJ Drastic and Kevin Lamar... Big shout-out to Kevin by the way....none of this would have been possible without Kev

Kid Cudi's set was straight... what made his set dope was the LED light wall behind him, & the other lights he had set up during his set... the rapping on the other hand.....well........LOL!

Asher's set was one of the illest. As much as I hate to compare him to other white hip-hop artists, his set had a carefree Beastie Boys feel to it. The other thing dope about Asher's crew is that he & his whole crew love Dilla...he did a lil Dilla tribute as well. You could tell that his whole crew was just up there to have a good time, and with that attitude, everyone else follows suit...once again: DOPE
