I find myself sittin at the computer this morning feelin as if I'm in one of the most lukewarm moods I've ever been in my life...eeeeh, whatever...let's go

I've been lovin this summer so far, but not satisfied with the moves that I've been making. I have so much shit to improve upon and it seems as though it's overwhelming at times...

Not gonna lie, I was kinda surprised by how aggy some of y'all got about some things in that last 5:03...like everything I wrote was about one person......pshhhh! Pardon me I HAD to laugh at that.

One of my pet peeves is when people hype up everything they're around/doing like it is thee dopest/illest/any other adjective that allows the usage of -est or most in front of it...shit's uber weak

My Father's Day was dope. I was gonna do a separate post about this, but I figure I'd do it now. After work at BR, I went over to my Pops crib to chill for a bit. Lemme go back to one moment where I touched upon how certain music brings up certain emotions in people. For example, I'll never forget the first time I sat down and listened to the John Coltrane/Johnnie Hartman album in its entirety.....wow....anyways, one track that gets me is Lupe Fiasco's "He Say She Say." Parts of that song represented the way that I used to feel about my dad many years ago, & still get to me no matter how many times I listen to that song. I remember a couple weeks back being in the car with this person that I've been feelin for a minute, and when that song played I couldn't help but talk about how I felt about that song...fast forward to Father's Day, talked to Pops about it too...really dope convo btw. Not to mention my dad is the biggest low-key Mike Posner/Big Sean fan too, lol...

Since I'm on the topic of sports, kinda bummed about the Red Wings...would've been dope if they got that W...oh well

I'm so zombie mode right now, and I've played THIS over 20 times just now, and at this particular moment, it's somehow so funny to me...

Got an uplifting call from big bro the other day...I needed it too. I hate dwelling or even mentioning my lows, b/c nobody likes people like that....you know the types: complaining about shit goin on in their lives when they're clearly in a position that others perceive as 'dope' in their life at that moment. It's calls like that where I see who's really lookin out for my best interest out here in this fucked up world

Shout-out to all the customers that come to Burn Rubber on the weekends. It's really good to see you all...especially the certain people that stop by primarily to kick it with me during the weekends. Y'all are the best I swear! I know sometimes I'm in there and it may seem like I'm not paying attention to you all, but just know that I feel blessed that y'all stop by to spend time with me.

I psych myself out sometimes into thinking that specific things are becoming unattainable to me.
