Anyways, This group was basically the Jazz version of "Swagger Like Us" a billion times over...at the time, the Jazz Messengers included many young musicians who went on to become prominent names in jazz (i.e. Horace Silver, Lou Donaldson, Freddie Hubbard, etc.)
