I used to hear that saying all the time playin football for Brother Rice. Anyways, Nike definitely followed the saying with these joints. The "Paisley" print paired with the buttery suede is a win-win. A bright sole, preferably yellow or infrared-ish, would have really set these off. Even though I understand that a colored sole would take away from the detail in the upper, I HATE white soles with a passion, lol...
