These are pretty dope. The concept is as well too, with Eminem's lyrics all over parts of the shoe and the insole. However, I think that these should've only been released at spots in and around Detroit (i.e. BURN RUBBER, Puffer Red's, etc.) since Jordan Brand played Michigan on the Jordan XXIII in the Titanium colorway.

haha...sorry cliff, but i gotta go against you on this one and truthfully say what i think about these;these things are soooo ugly..They look like fakes!!I respect eminem and stuff, but this is possibly the WORST colorway JB has EVER released...straight garbage
ReplyDeletethe colorway isn't that much of a fake-looking colorway...most of the fake 2's look completely ridiculous compared to this. the shoe is basically a 'bred' colorway (which every Jordan has had basically) w/ grey, so you obviously need to be educated on Jordan colorways before you call this the "worst colorway JB has ever released"
ReplyDeletei don't know, man...that's just my opinion on the colorway. i'm not saying anyone's right or wrong here,but that's just what was going through my mind when i saw these. let's not forget i said possibly, not definitely, the worst colorway they've produced(and it's really the writing on the outside that makes me dislike it, not as much of the black/grey.It feels cluttered). I'm definitely educated on jb colorways and releases(where is Bow Wow?).Just not feeling this at all. In agreement,though,they should've been released in Detroit.
ReplyDeletethe writing may "feel" cluttered to you, but so is Eminem's writing in his notebooks, which look exactly like what's on the shoe, which is why it's dope...as for JB colorways, there have been colorways way uglier, to the point that the eminem 2 shouldn't even been mentioned as an ugly shoe. (i.e. mist blue iv's,the new olympic jordan's, air jordan 5 laser ra, flip 3, almost every i.e. 11...yeah, i could keep goin but you should get the point by now)
ReplyDeletelol,yeah, the flip 3's were pretty bad...I thought u liked the different olympic jordans though?! i didn't like them either. Things that jb keeps doing (odd colorways,declining quality, pricing, package marketing) has just been turning my eye away from jb as a whole. They were so much better before when og colorways weren't so hard to get, people could buy dope pairs seperately and not in a package,and quality could justify the price tag. I'm very anxious to see what happens with the aj 2009 after such positive feedback from people on the xx3.Just a question to think about, but can the only place to go after the xx3 be downward?it's gonan be hard to improve upon
