So it looks like the long awaited Google phone is now ready to launch on T-Mobile within the next month (OCT 22nd at the latest). But how will it match up against the current champion the iPhone and the future world heavy weight champion the Blackberry Bold??? Well it has a few things going on, a slide out (think sidekick) touch screen revels a full keyboard, and it is Google so you know there will be software and app support @ launch date. Its fast, expandable (1GB on board memory), on a faster network and fully syncable over the air (NO NEED TO PLUG INTO YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!). My prediction is the Google phone will be better than the iPhone, but only until BlackBerry releases all the dope shit in their arsenal (Bold, Storm, Thunder, Javelin.....game over!!!)
and i quote Jeff Staple via his blog, "everyone I know says they are less productive and efficient since moving to the iPhone from BlackBerry" its only a matter of time before people get tired of the touchscreen and slow internet....
i mean, this is all well and good for a phone... but i just don't see how it can reasonably compete with apple. because the people who get this, are going to need a seperate music player. 1 gig just doesn't cut it. Sure, it has some cool technology, and it probably rivals the iphone in terms of phone features, but so far, i don't see anything really bothering the iphone as an all in one pocket saving device.
