IT ALL STARTED WITH A HOUSE PARTY!!!!!

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick plead guilty today to two felonies of obstruction of justice and lying under oath. He has agreed to pay 1 million dollars in restitution, spend 4 months in jail, serve 5 years of probation, give up his law license and resign as the mayor of the city of Detroit

Here is the breakdown.....

Kim Worthy (the city prosecutor) offered him a plea of 30 days in jail/2 felonies/1 mill in restitution/probation BUT NO RESIGNATION FROM BEING MAYOR.....

Kwame passed on that deal, because he did not want to do any jail time (and did not want to plead guilty to obstruction so he could keep his law licence). Then Kim took a page out of the AZ negotiation book, and said OK now I will offer you more jail time!!! Hows that sound? So Kwame (aka Mr. Polka dots) took the deal, and now has 2 strikes (technically 3 if you add in the assault of the police officer, we will have to wait to see how that plays out)!!!!! He better watch out when he gets out of jail.

And on the side, Ella Bully Commings resigned too??? Why???? I cant wait to find out about that!!! 3 other city department officials also resigned this weekend????? I cant wait to hear all the dirt that will come out because of this. Get your popcorn out and get comfortable!!!!
