LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I PRESENT TO YOU JORDAN BRAND'S LATEST "WHAT THE FUCK WERE WE THINKING" MOMENT

So I was doing my daily run through of all the sites I look at, and I saw something that made me scrunch my face up real tight and yell "WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!" as loud as possible. As most of you know, Jordan Brand has been hitting people with $310 Countdown Packages, delivering somewhat of an 'ode' to the in-line Jordans of the past. Now I'm all for this idea, but some of the choices JB has made makes me wonder what the people that make these decisions were doing at the time....

For example, why the fuck would do a Shadow X in the X/XIII package when JB could've produced the "Chicago X" and made the whole sneaker community go crazy???.....early

And why not make an entirely new colorway of the XIV instead of that colorway reminiscent of the black/white pinstripe Bulls jerseys that everyone fuckin hated...even the players ((Jordan said it himself that it felt like they lost more in those jerseys)and it was statiscally proven that the Jordan Bulls did lose more in that jersey)????

Now, I really haven't had any other qualms about any of the other packages that have dropped until I saw these pictures that damn near made me go crazy...





First off, when the Jordan 20 came out, I hated (and still do hate) the whole "motorcycle boot/shoe" inspiration and design, all except the story behind the lasering and IPS system, which were both dope. That ankle strap........that fucking ankle strap. *sigh* i digress...

Anyways, with a shoe that I disliked so strongly, the recent news of the "regional" all black Jordan 20 coming out in the 20/3 Countdown Package made me dislike the 20, as well as JB, more than I've ever had.

Now JB, I know it's all about money, but GOT DAMN! y'all really must not give a flying fuck about shit right now. Why not re-release the OG, Midwest, East Coast, or West Coast colorway? Sheeeeit, even the Stealh colorway would have been cool with me...but ALL BLACK?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!

I'm gonna go ahead and quote Matt from Nicekicks.com . In his entry about this shoe, he writes:

"Rarely do I inject personal opinion into my writing, (what you choose to wear is up to you!) but to hold silent about this is too hard. In a year that we are supposed to “Countdown” the Jordan shoes in what many thought would be a year of “greatest hits”, the trend seems to be that a package consists of one chart topper, and one ringtone rap classic. If a “regional” Air Jordan can make it into a CDP, what else can we pray we won’t see? Jordan 11 low LE? Jordan 15 Moc? Jordan 22 PE?"

JORDAN BRAND BETTER NOT FUCK UP THE AIR JORDAN 11 IN THE 11/12 PACKAGE...
