THE MOST EPIC OF ALL CONNECT FOUR BATTLES....THE JEDI VS. THE DRAWING APE....

Aight y'all, so I had been goin back and forth with James Grady about playing him in Connect Four. So when he told me that he was coming through to Burn Rubber yesterday, I ask him to bring his Connect Four so we could battle for the belt...

Sure enough, right before we close, here come James and the Grady Bunch & James holding up the championship belt. So we straed playing each other in a best-of-five series...here's the recap:

GAME 1: James hits me the cocky ish & a couple moves of trickery that messed with my head and lead to me lookin like I've never played before... APE - 1; JEDI - 0


GAME 2: Taking the L, I decided to try to run it back real quick, not fully recovered from the first beating, which led to more Connect F*our*uckery... APE - 2; JEDI - 0


GAME 3: The Grady shit talking meter was on full blast, lol...and it was looking really bad...But in the words of Elder Carter: 'I had to hustle, my back to the wall ashy knuckles'...I played the aggressor on this joint, flipping the script and pulling out the W on some last second hero shit... APE - 2; JEDI - 1


GAME 4: I'm comfortable now, got my swag back, and started playing like I champion I am...I had this one on lock... APE - 2; JEDI - 2


GAME 5: Shit was intense after Game 4..we both had to take a break & were on some "hahaha, I'm cracking jokes, but in the back of my mind, I'm really trynna win" shit...We both were on our game. I tried to trap him, but he got of there real quick...AND THIS ish HAPPENED:


So it ended, and James retained his title belt...
