Whatupdoe people! I had been meaning to start this up last week but my break was so busy. Lemme see, where do I begin…
Spring Break ’08 was pretty straight for me. Other than workin up at Burn Rubber under the tutelage of owners/my brothers Rick and Ro, the biggest highlight of my break was the Burn Rubber’s One-Year Anniversary Celebration. Burn Rubber’s been open since 2004, but this celebration was to commemorate the first year that new owners Rick Williams and Roland Coit took it over. Anyways, the event was mad fun. I’m gonna try to not give you play-by-play of everything that happened, but I will highlight a few happenings there that were pretty dope. Here’s my little summary:
1. Crazy Sneakers….HEAT all over the place
2. Mad cool people came through to support BR (for those of you that didn’t, y’all slept so hard)
3. Big Sean’s (G.O.O.D. Music) performance was crazy (So was Sean’s HAY-SOOSE piece)
4. Mo Beatz spinnin’
5. Finally Famous came through, LORDIN…Once again, I missed another opportunity to throw an ’F’ up. *sigh* there’s always next time.
6. Calvin lost another jit battle to Ro, lol
7. Cappy, Phil, and Shades313 made some dope pieces that night
